I’m very exited to have had two pieces selected for the Stitch By Stitch exhibition in Oswestry.
Its a real delight to have these pieces selected and exhibited alongside some established and internationally renowned artists whose work I really admire - including Jan Beaney & Jean Littlejohn, Nigel Cheney and Alison Holt.
Exhibition catalogues will be available to order online and at the gallery desk during the exhibition .

Knit + Stitch is the biggest textile craft show in the UK. I am delighted and honoured to have a piece exhibited as part of the 2024-2025 Embroiderer's Guild Member Challenge.
"A Very British Obsession" won both the Constance Howard Award for "most outstanding piece" and the Valeria Cambell-Harding award for best use of machine-stitch. I was absolutely delighted to win these categories and the piece will be on display in all three locations.
This was a labour of love on so many levels - many years recording weather data as a family, searching through to find an interesting year, researching the changes in daylight hours through the seasons, and the effort of converting all that to a piece of art as a colour wheel representing the rythms of the year.
I hope you like it as much as I did putting it all together!

Main Exhibition

Wednesday to Sunday only, 6th September - 4th October

Over 500 stunning artworkds from 270 local artists. This is a fully "open" event so is a great opportunity for new artists to exhibit. I have two pieces in the main exhibition and a contribution to the Mini Art raffle to help raise funds for NROS.
As well as the main exhibition, I have two other studio / exhibition events as part of NROS

Rather than opening my own studio I am looking forward to setting up a pop-up studio alongside the main exhibition at Lamport. I will be tehre, with a recreastion of part of my studio, with of course my trusty sewing machine. I really hope we get to meet up there.

Oakham Art Collective
As well as the main exhibition at Lamport Hall I am very excited to be exhibiting at Victoria Hall in Oakham for two weeks. As part of the Oakham Art Collective I will be exhibiting with 6 other talented local artists. I will be taking my turn to be host in the gallery and may see you there if you are able to visit. You can combine the trip with a visit to the Creatives At The Castle pop-up event who are exhibiting on the 6th and 7th of September.

Visualise is 20 years old this year. On show will include artwork, accessories, gifts and cards to inspire and buy.
